Some Udemy courses are super cringe.

Can tell this guy isn't formally educated nor a professional programmer.

His code is so badly formatted and his naming conventions reeks of inexperience.

Spaghetti everywhere.

that's the issue I find with these videos and courses.

Previously. people who write books/ lectures have some kind of prestige or title that justifies it and you can be fairly confident that what they preach are mostly legit and useful.

But now any random person can preach anything. You have to really know your stuff to make judgement on whether what they preach is good

That sounds like an average professional programmer to me

oh and I do want to rant on this.

Then you find a rare one on pluralsight from an expert like Jon Skeet and the reviews are like

"wtf is this? This guy just says all these complicated stuff to shows off while the host constantly kisses his ass. I can't follow this at all"
