@oscarascal that's a solfège, a way to name notes in a scale. Good for audiation. The notes themselves are still A-G with sharps and flats.
Eg. If "do" is tied to "C", then "do re mi fa sol" generally corresponds to "C D E F G", the ascending C major scale. An Indian variant of the same thing is "sa re ga ma pa".
Though it is true that in a fixed-do system the "do" is usually tied to C-natural, but that's not necessary, it could easily correspond to any other note.
