    Out of curiosity, do your touch boards also trigger even when you come close but don't touch it? I've got some of those boards here like that, sure as hell it's useful for putting it behind a thick case, but it's so weird. I think that it may be a capacitive property or something like that. But capacitive coupling over several mm of air?

    One time I strapped a hard drive to a raspi to make a simple media center. The first thing people say when they see it, "Is that a bomb?"

    @Condor yup, you can even get several cm out of it if you play with the resistance, add a capacitor to ground and add a grounding plane behind the touch sensor

    @Condor yeah, they even trigger when i put them on the desk lmao, but its still better than those tiny tactile buttons
