Ive just uninstalled an app after receiving a push notification wishing me happy (dunno what anymore). Guys push notification are very valuable, u can"t use them for anything.
Gosh some devlopers need to have some marketing skill and user psychology awareness

I had an Android app advertise its paid version with notifications on two weekends in a row. Uninstalled, bitched about it on the Play Store. The author replied: "We're only doing that sometimes!".
Yeah, right. "But officer, I'm only killing people with my axe *sometimes*!" That's great, you still just admitted you're breaking the law (or the Play Store guidelines).

Honestly I don't think the developers are at fault, could have been the marketing or the product owner that demanded more notifications. Clients from hell etc. 😜
