On sick leave, watching commercial news circus and being as laid back as I can. A bit of a panic going on, but after the news I'll go outside and ask employer for the rest of the week off.

Some pro tips for relaxation and mindfulness?

    Sleep?

    Oh, just now saw your tags. Physical activity? And lots of it. Even better - in the nature. Do any of your relatives own a patch of forest? Go clean it up! That's gonna do it! When you are focused on how the fuck are you gonna lift that log or pull it out of the swamp the whole day do you could access it with your Husquarna and in the evening you cannot feel your body, when the next day every single muscle hurts af and you still are going to the forest,... It does rest your mind oh so well!

    A week of work like that, another week of rest [with physical activity ofc] and you're good to go back 😁

    laying in a bed all the time *WILL* make it worse.

    @joas It's a golden rule.

    If mind is tired - work with your body to rest.

    Drawing and talking to people are super relaxing activities. Also, reading the book "Brain Lock" from Jeffrey M. Schwartz. Yeap, it's for OCD people, but I noticed that my brain keeps getting stuck on questions of how my code will behave in the future, and those things come to my dreams too. So, I noticed that therapy stuff for OCD people also helps me relax a bit.
