Am I the only one that negatively judges people who listen to podcasts or audio books while they write code?

How do you even know what they are listening to? You spying on their devices or something?

@nibor They told me. Odd that isn't the most obvious answer.

Why would you judge them negatively? If it helps them concentrate

How is it any different than music?

@Demolishun music you don't really have to pay attention to, I tried audiobooks and podcasts a few times but noticed I was more dreaming away than working.

Music has no continuous story which books and podcasts do have

@Codex404 That really depends upon the person as to if that is a distraction. It also depends upon the type of work/code you are working on.

For me music is not distracting unless it is bad music. Stories/casts tend to be more distracting, but other people are able to work just fine.

@mohanrajanr I doubt that, there is so many people there is bound to be someone thinking the same.

@Codex404 I think that comment from @mohanrajanr was sarcastic.

@linuxxx I still don't know what telemetry is. Should I be collecting telemetries?

@Pyjong I don't see how that relates to this rant but if I'm missing something, feel free to elaborate!
