There was a rant about an online hoster "comparable to Google", "for free" and "with moral" this morning.
After I asked how it makes money and pays the services one gets for free, the rant got deleted.

I should have kept the name of the hoster in mind, to know which one I will never use, obviously. This is too suspicious.

    It was https://bloom.sh/. Looks interesting, but it's nothing I would ever use for real stuff. I prefer paying and having a service

    @Linux Indeed.

    No, that wasn't it.

    @crisz Yes, this one is it! Thanks!

    @Benedikt that one is subscription based though. There is a free trial and the ToS is talking about payments and subscriptions.

    Quite a few red flags on Bloom. Terms of Service talk about cancellation of plans via email (ew) and has a lot of spelling errors. Privacy policy says they don't share information with anyone and then proceeds to say they share info with their payment provider. IANAL but would that nullify these documents when it comes to legal issues?

    @Mvzes no, unless the document is unreadable or can be read two ways its a valid document.
    They don't share any personal data besides with the payment provider (how else do they handle payments)

    @Codex404 that's fair enough. I understand they need to share *some* data to make it functional, that's why it seems misleading to say "we share none"
