I like writing bash, im just really worried about the time when the management eventually decides we need to support windows.

You could try making a Bash to PowerShell converter or make someone else do it.

Example:

Hey @C0D4, since you're starting Go and are in need of little projects to help you grasp the language, I think it could be nice to make a Bash to PowerShell converter! What do you think?

@Jilano I like to stay as far away from powershell as possible. I have had write scripts in it before and never have I enjoyed a moment of it, give me VB any day instead.

On a more serious note, I can understand the feeling. Its verbosity can be off putting.

This sounds like a prelude to Windows bashing...
