Speaking of annoying stuff in coding. What the fuck is it with the localized error messages?

No. Fuck you. No. Give me the English version so I can google it and find answers from the huge English speaking community instead of the tiny community of my language.

    I spend more time trying to figure out how the error is translated properly into English than fixing it after reading what's the cause it's firing.

    Can't you switch your IDE language? That's the first thing I do after installing visual studio. In fact testing tools don't work properly if it's not in English.

    This is why error codes need to make a come back. No matter the language the code would be the same. Would make googling a lot easier.

    Just use your entire OS in English. Works for me.

    @lucas22 that's what I usually do, but it's not always an option especially at work.

    I recently had an error on a site in Swedish. The message was in English, yay! It read:
    "Untranslated error message"
