You know you have a quality teacher for C code when you are writing a test and you have to write the code on a piece of paper

    If the teacher values an idea more than actual code I think it's a good thing to write the program on a paper

    This is actually how I performed my knowledge tests to skip a few programming courses in university. Our assembly professor also had us write instructions on paper for exams and homework; luckily nothing too complex.

    In India, we always write code on paper. (No one knows why)
    When I say code I mean the entire program from the header files to the return statement in the main function.

    @Baxos I agree handwriting code is a good practice.. I didn't enjoy taking those tests either, but it's helpful thinking
