I am starting my web development business and i intend to focus on building mainly custom ecommerce solutions to small and medium businesses or large ones too. I am just about to launch my first project and my client has been great.
Any advice from the pros in the house who have been there done that will be worth more than diamond right now to me.
I like advice mainly on how to find new clients.

Truthfully your best place (hard to hear as a dev) is word of mouth. Hard to hear because we aren't naturally extroverts.

Being in front of someone is far better! Then anything else 99.9% of sales will come this way. Phoning emails works but is far less productive

Talking to people you know saying if someone mentions this could you direct them my way. Is the best.

Far more persuasive to have someone they know suggest you.

That and go to events where you can make new friends and get to know people. Font force your company on them be polite just mention it ... Let it flow naturally ... Oh hey what do you do for example

Then it takes time to ramp up... Be prepared for that

Be involved as much as you can

And last. Work all the time.
