Reminds me if something that happened to me a few months ago.

Friend (non coder) and I were at a bar, having a drink. He asks me "What's up? You seem distracted" and I reply "nothing too serious, just some things bugging me". "Explain it to me, maybe I can help" he says. And I tell a whole monolog, basically telling him that I don't know how to deal with MongoDB in my application because of its fluid structure. This monologs takes like 10 minutes and he was just sitting their and nodding his head, trying to pretend he knew anything about the subject. In the end he just told me, "can't help you with that. But I can help you with another beer". Two hours later, I'm drunk and I still don't know how to deal with MongoDB... :(

...and you end up whiteboarding on a napkin.
