Unless the shop is the place who hosted/gave the warranty, it's voided anyway.

Still, putting the original HDD in, no one will notice that anything's been changed.

Warranty issue solved. Never done this before. Nope <_< >_>

@RexOmni yip it's the shop that hosted the warranty.you see I thought having an ssd and installing Linux on it would be so cool and fast.but seems there's alot of issues with linux on my laptop.ill just get it changed back to the original HDD with Windows installed by the shop and possibly get a refund for the ssd.

@zmzmuazzam98 alright. Apologies, I've had to talk to so many people who can't understand why the company won't fix their laptop when they took their comp to an unaffiliated IT shop.

On another note, what issues. I've fixed up quite a few Linux/Ubuntu/Debian laptops.

Totally depends on the laptop. A vast majority of laptop manufacturers allow hard drive / SSD upgraded and replacements as well as RAM upgrades without voiding warrenty.

@CaptainQwerty if you live in an EU country they can't void your warranty for doing it even if the company says so. It's illegal.

@zmzmuazzam98 please add spaces after full stops, unless this is an attribute access, a method call or a file extension.

@RexOmni when lubuntu booted.it was installing then it said installation corrupted or something like that.it was on legacy mode.but it stopped installing where it was configuring grub.
