I am absolutely HYPED about the Fujitsu Lifebook UH-X. 634 grams, 1080p, and look at all of those ports! It'd be perfect with Linux on it, for web development.
When is it coming to the European/US market?!

    Fujitsu really is the last brand I'd be hyped about. You a marketer for them?

    You're hyped for 1080p?

    @spongessuck @synemeup ok, our needs don't match obviously. Let me explain what I care about in a laptop:
    Portability, toughness so could throw it around like a tool, 1080p on 13.3" is maximum I'd use (at 100% scale) anyway, also it's good for battery life. Keyboard is better than the MB Air (the only other candidate IMO)
    Cpu is good enough for running VSCode and pushing commits to the pipeline on a server.
    Have I mentioned the weight? It weighs slightly more than 2 Milka chocolate bars!
    Do you emphasize with that? Or am I in a narrow niche of users?

    Lightweight and compact are definitely things I value, but 1080p is the minimum I'd expect in a modern laptop.

    Only 8GB RAM and Intel CPU are some downers, though. Also, what's the point of a lightweight device if the battery is only 25Wh? Highly mobile but won't last long if used on the road?

    Also: what kind of monster chocolate bars are you referring to? Standard ones are 100g here.

    I'm never getting 8GB RAM again. Pain

    @Fast-Nop 10oz ones

    @spongessuck @Fast-Nop there is a 16GB variation on AMD version on this laptop.
    Fujitsu advertises 22hrs, which is obviously BS on 25wh, but can't be that far from truth. Here's hoping

    @spongessuck on a 13.3" 4k with no matte coating and a serious hit on a battery life - I'd always pair such thing with an external monitor.

    @SortOth 22 hours in suspend-to-RAM maybe. In reality, I'd give it 4 hours. But 16GB and AMD is already better.

    Oh, and I'd never accept a mirror as display. Yes, it does improve the colours if the display is cheap crap, but it's not really worth it IMO.
