It would be nice if I didn't have to come in and code on your bullshit product for your bullshit company so I could actually do some code and be happy about it.

If I wasn't so dependent on a regular income I'd be out and doing my own thing already. Money doesn't motivate me to code, it just creates the necessity for me to code for someone elses shitty ideas...

    Start a startup, even if it doesn't do well just the fact that you gain experience from starting your own business will greatly boost your career aspects

    @Damgecontrol something I do want to do but I don't have the money upfront or am I in the position right now to take risks. I have a newborn and where I'm the only income provider it's a bit difficult, even if I do find some extra time to get some proper prototypes going etc. Will just have to wait a few years or as I said try and find some extra time on the side
