There is no expertise except in problems people solve all the time because eventually specific unused knowledge fades !

Note i say eventually, not suddenly and overnight as has been accomplished previously.

Point is why can't I have my nice organized set of solutions to my common use-cases solved and not have to be bugged anymore and compile a nice list of them so I can page through when I need jesus christ !

There is no one way to have solutions one place. Because sometimes applications vary. It's like a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces in which you have to draw or design these last few pieces yourself in a way that makes them fit best.

Also, you need to protect your understanding of things. I always write down every little idea/concept I feel is important in exact same words that I use in my head to explain it to myself. Because I know I have shit memory. Later when I refer to this, that makes it easier to quickly write out a solution. Doesn't matter how many times you need to do this. As long as it doesn't take long and you have your solution. Its very likely you won't even have to refer to anything once you've done this several times.

...so why can't you? Start noting them down and then just copy/paste them when they're needed.

Maybe make a textbook. I presume you don't experience writer's block too much?
