    Honestly, they are not wrong, but they ARE being a total asshat.

    They are wrong in that they are just being disrespectful, but it kinda is our job to know if we have solved an issue or QAs job to assure it's fixed. We can't always rely on the customers.

    Maybe the guy just had a hell of a day because of the mentioned issue thus causing his reply to be like so. All in all, I think he's right but not the way he delivered it.

    @azndude nope. That is not how business acceptance works. A fix that works in your mind does not mean it fixed the users case in a way that worked for him/her or causes others issues or does not cover all cases

    Best reply to such a**holes would be, "We have patched the bug and deployed it. We also discovered that the bug occurs due to malware on the local system. If it still does not work, please format your device to remove the malware"

    @coldfire Malware is the notorious System32 virus. Delete its conveniently labelled folder ftw.
