    And what's so bad about that? I'm pretty sure there isn't a single language that everyone likes. JS has (as do most other languages) its pros and cons. And that's fine

    I see this ALOT more with languages like Lua rather than JavaScript..

    @heikomat The wrong thing are some typical arguments like: "If you want strong typing use typescript, javascript of awesome". WTF! How can using source language be a reason that the target language is good? If that was the logic, best language is machine code.
