Guys, I get a 30 Mbps in download and 50 Mbps in Upload when using speedtest using my service provider server however if i change the server to other location, I get like 15 Mbps in Download and just 1 Mbps in upload what does that suppose to mean?

    It is like driving on the highway to the nearest city, vs, driving to the store to get milk.

    One has traffic jams. The other does not.

    It means that your provider cheaped out on peering agreements and/or connections.

    Maybe they prioritise traffic to their speedtest server to make their service look faster when customers measure it.

    Dodgey isp.
    Call customer support, they make you run a speed test, you past the minimum requirements for them to not do anything besides bill you next month too.

    fast.com is the speed to netflix. It is the most reliable website you can get to test the internet speed. As 100% no ISP will prioritize the traffic to netflix, compared to other speedtesting sites that may get prioritized.

    @jonas-w fast shows something like 15mbps and 1 mbps upload

    @electrineer when i download something i see the speed of the download is around 2 Mbps/s
