    rar files are so rare these days. What do you even do with them

    That's one of the best selling strategy for a software. They made most of their revenue from selling it to corporate clients but still maintained a huge customer base.

    That's absolutely true, I know the devs at Winrar company and they told me their policy, I'm totally with them.
    Whatever software you make it will be just cracked, why not crack it yourself (not wix) 😁.
