I don't like WordPress. But my boss want me to do WordPress website...

Dude no one likes it, but its so easy to make websites with it, just find a page builder plugin and a responsive theme! Good luck!!!

@mohammed i actually use betheme... Kind of slow and not really good for SEO. But not my choice.

I did a website in 3 days this week, so yeah, it's fast.

@tigie11 Unfortunately, when you use WordPress and tell your boss and the clients about it, they get excited and show some kind of happiness like you used AI or something big!!!

I used to hate WP too, still dislike it. But, the reason I hated it, is all the shitty code in the themes and plugins.
Do some digging in the WP core and experiment, and you might find a few tricks that'll improve any WP sites drastically.

Probably spent 4-5 months on building my own WP base theme and setup, so for each new project, I copy paste, and start from there
