Wtf, my laptop froze 2 times since I installed new RAM yesterday...

    make sure they are fully inserted, other than that you might of got ahold of some bad ram. you can check the ram with memtest86 or windows memory diagnostic.

    Make sure you are properly grounded. The machines powered down for a good 15 mins, unplug all wires and remove battery if possible. If the rams fucked, it's fucked, taking it out and putting back in is futile, unless of course it's not been pushed home properly. I suspect you already know all this anyway.

    @jckimble @helloworld thanks for the help, but I am pretty familiar with pcs and their components already ;)
    The RAM I got isn't the exact stick I ordered btw, they weren't in Stock so they sent a different one...
    I'll be seeing what's happening next

    For the current RAM it does run I can start the laptop with either sticks or both, and It works, 16GB now, but it does freeze after a while.

    Wich, maybe not, it was running overnight, still going.

    I've let the bios test the RAM, it thinks it's OK, I'm gonna let windows test it now.
