Just got you to +300. Go get that stress ball!
-
5 days on, 2 days homework, 5 days on, 2 days homework, 5 days on... [Continue for 6-10 more years]
-
Aaaaand its gone

.

15. Freshman year I took AP CompSci and aced AP test. Its about passion and knowledge, not age.
-
No LFS/BLFS? What images would you guys suggest for LFS/BLFS users?
-
I'm a simple man. I see cats, I upvote. ++ for you!
-
"kill $MYSELF"
Lmao same -
@jckimble still using coreutils. Doesn't matter too much to be though, I love the selective minimalism.
-
@jckimble well first I tried putting it on a flashdrive with three partitions and no idea what I was doing. Had to reformat around 27 times. Then I tried it on a local partition with a semblance of knowledge and it only took 1 try-fail-reformat
-
@bryceleo rip. I'm up to 3 right now. Win10, Ubuntu, and now LFS
-
@bryceleo One of the few things I like about still being in HS. Lots of time for tinkering
-
@kamen actually in my mandarin class while reading this. Happy lunar new year everyone!
-
@CaptainQwerty Mainly using Linux now. Windows might be one of the worst OS in terms of privacy from the devs (and by extension NSA due to PRISM). I'm currently installing Debian with encrypted LVM and a bootkey. Mainly asking about web stuff. (Already know to avoid major social networks and such)
-
@nullvec little did we know, the thing that AI's most want to learn is how to die. (Just dark humor, I'm a terrible person)
-
@asgs Not joking. I started studying comp sci when I was like 9. Its nice to know there are languages younger than me though, I always feel a bit out-of-my-element programming or talking to other devs 😥
-
Dude, just about every language is older than me. (I'm 15yo in case anyone wanted to know)
-
...typo sorry. This is why I need to make 10 commits to get one thing done.
-
mv -r /dev/2006 /dev/null
-
@jpichardo oh. Sorry I'm stupid.
-
Amateur.

@harambae
At first it was very simple. Just SMTP and/or IMAP. No verification, just the send/receive. Then there was the verification. Not too bad yet. Then there was spam and spam guards. A little challenging but still manageable. Then came TLS and SSL which uprooted everything and is now mandatory to exchanging mail with any trusted domain. I'm still trying to configure dovecot and postfix to use my SSL certs properly. (Among other issues) -
A bit late here, but email. It started simple but after years of putting hacks on top of hacks its now a nightmare to make a server for.
-
I feel bad for the people who need to make the download pages for browsers. You need to make it look appealing in IE so they can stop using it.
-
I vote for discord style text. Really fun and useful. Plus the ‘‘‘ blocks are amazing.
-
@tahnik You know that VMs, live USBs, and partitions are options, right?
-
Just checked it. To enter this password change your keyboard to Chinese Pinyin and enter the pinyin "Mima". Select the option which looks like the text above. The text should change to those two characters.
It translates to, you guessed it, password.
The password is password. -
@andrebreda
Asexual is a form of attraction, not sex, but yes, I'd agree that a boolean isn't enough for medical documentation of sex. Without accounting for transgender people, you'd need to allow for male, female, and intersex (which is probably what you meant by hermaphrodite). -
@thejohnhoffer
Take my ++ and come back with more links like that -
Depends on what specifically you're designing on it. It could be absolute hell. Like the show.
