when i worked in IT, some coworkers told me to install some stuff in the "happy" and delete some files from the "surprised". I spend several days confused, until they explained me... Idk if they are idiots or geniuses.
happy disk (C:)
surprised disk (D:)
maybe they were both.7 -
I'm so upset when developers starts to say that mac books are better and faster, even with windows, just because of what? Magic?apple logo? Compare them with a dell xps 15 with i7hq, ssd on pci xpress and if you care about display the 4k version is far better than retina... And no osx it's not faster than windows 10, there are comparison on the same hardware... Come on developers, you suppose to know the basics... If you prefer the macbook for design, because it's cool, fashion, light apple logo, ui, it's ok... Feel free to use it. But don't say things not true74

At middle school they kept on banning the flash game sites so I made one my self but it was called something like mathhomework.somefreehost.com, the landing page looked like a homework site and all the flash games were called something like problem_1.swf. I use to sell logins to class mates at like £2.50.3

Never trust a developer who’s muscle memory isn’t set up to automatically run `ls` *immediately* after `cd`ing into a directory.12

I actually took the time to explain to a recruiter that java != JavaScript... He told me they were similar enough... I put it in terms he'd understand: "If you want to make money, you need to understand that they are not similar. If you keep saying they are and send your clients a dev with no java experience, you'll lose clients. if you send devs to a place that's looking for something they don't know, you'll lose devs. Your pitch reeks of desperation and you'll be out of the business within a year unless you actually start listening to the people who know the tech."
I almost felt bad, but... He kept pushing when I said no, haha.4
